It's no surprise to anyone that reads this blog that I love to travel and wish I could do it more. I came across this artist's work on tumblr and I must say I am obsessed. Jazzberry Blue, a super talented artist, does these amazing abstract city maps. I'm thinking of ordering one to put in my living room where we are trying to start a gallery wall. If abstract city maps are not your thing, he also has some other pretty impressive prints that would look great in any home.

Which one is your favorite? I'm kinda partial to the Milan one myself.

Travel Tuesdays: Yachting

This weekend I visited my friend's new apartment in the financial district. While we were walking around checking out her new neighborhood, we walked by where all the wealthy people park their yachts. We decided to make it our goal to become friends with someone who owns one of the yachts so they can invite us aboard. Here is what I would wear if someone decides to invite us aboard their yacht this Labor Day weekend.

Travel Tuesdays: London Calling

My lucky roommate is flying off to London tomorrow and I could not be more jealous. Besides NYC, London is my favorite city in the world that I have been to. There was a period of time when my dad had to do business in London and I would fly over there with him during the summer and just explore the city. I wish he still did business in London so I could visit it again or live there for a year or two.

How adorable is this map that Melissa Bailey made of London Fashion Week?! She also has adorable prints of other cities Fashion Weeks. I would kill to one day attend London Fashion Week. I think London definitely has the best street style and the London fashionistas always come out in full force during Fashion Week. If I was also going to London this week, below is what I would wear there.

Travel Tuesday: Beach Bag Essentials

Since I am currently in Florida and either going to the beach or pool every day, I figured I would show what I pack in my beach bag. My Kindle is fully loaded with lots of books to read since I can literally read a book within in a day. A scarf in case I need to coverup to go inside. The first sunscreen I've found that I'm not allergic to and I don't ever burn with (it's amazing seriously).

Travel Tuesdays: Vacation Time

It's been almost a year since I have had a real vacation, so I was beyond excited when two weeks ago my parents surprised me with plane tickets for our family vacation. This year it's happening in Florida and I cannot wait to just lie on the beach and read J.K. Rowling's apparent new novel. The pictures of the hotel, which can be seen below, are stunning. And it will be nice to be near a body of water when it is hot out. This heat wave is killing me right now. I just have to survive two more weeks.

Anyone taking a vacation soon or know any other books I should take to Florida?

Travel Tuesdays: Travel Through Photos

As I have previously mentioned, I am in love with London. It just so happens my dear friend, Sarah Kuszelewicz, is currently in England and spending much of her time in London. It also just so happens that she has the most incredible photo blog. Sarah is a seriously talented photographer who captures her subjects perfectly (if anyone is in the NYC/NJ metro area and needs a photographer you can hire her!). I just have to share some of her awesome photos since I think she does an amazing job capturing the personality of London (okay one is from NYC and one is from my friend's wedding, but they were too good not to share as well). Travel Tuesdays: Wimbledon

Wimbledon is officially open for business. Have I ever mentioned that I love tennis? Well, I do. I would absolutely love to go to Wimbledon one day (especially since I also love London). Until I can make this happen, I will be content with going to the US Open in August. But let's pretend I am going to Wimbledon this year. Here is what I would wear.

Travel Tuesdays: Destination Wedding

For a year or so now, I've been thinking that when I get married, I want a destination wedding (not that this is happening anytime soon). After going to my friend's wedding in Miami (even though that was technically not a destination wedding since she is from Miami and lives there), I knew I wanted a  destination wedding. It was so much fun to be hanging out with friends on vacation and then going to a wedding.  I'm not sure where exactly my destination wedding will be but most likely somewhere with palm trees.

Do you have any ideas of where you want your wedding or if you are married where did you get married?

Travel Tuesdays: Bed & Breakfast

How charming is this Bed & Breakfast in East Hampton? Wouldn't it be the perfect place to stay this upcoming Memorial Day weekend? The Baker House was built in 1650 and it is open all year long as B&B.  It has won numerous awards for being a top notch B&B and it even has it's own highly rated spa!

Travel Tuesdays: Airport Style

I finally booked my flight for my dear friend's wedding in Miami. When I travel, I prefer wearing something simple and comfy. I love wearing a jersey type dress that will be comfortable for the plane but still look cute when I get off it. I like to top off my dress with a scarf to help keep me warm on the plane and shoes that I can slip on and off easily. Finally, a tote bag is perfect for travel since I can stash my bathing suit in it to change once I get to the beach.

How gorgeous are these paintings by Maja Wrońska? Maja is a seriously talented Polish artist whose work I discovered through Tumblr. I am literally in awe of how talented she is. The vibrant colors in her paintings would look amazing on a gallery wall in any room. I personally like the carousel picture and the London pictures the best. Which is your favorite?

It is a dream of mine to one day go to Coachella.  I might not be going this year, but I can still plan out what I would wear there. While this outfit is a deviation of my usual style, the individual pieces are all something I would wear paired with different items. It would be so fun to be a hippie for a day and listen to music.

Travel Tuesday: Dream Destination

Since spring has yet to bloom in New York (it snowed yesterday), I am dreaming of a warm location. Santorini, Greece has long been on my list of places to visit. Right now with freezing temps hanging around, Santorini is looking better and better.
