Beauty Budget Buys

I am a big believer in that beauty should be affordable. I have found many mass beauty products to be just as good if not better than their prestige counterparts. It makes sense since most prestige  brands like Lancome or YSL are actually made in the same places like L'Oreal or Maybelline. Same owners after all.

Here are just some of my favorite beauty budget buys that are all under $20!

1. Deep Down Detox Ultra Cleansing Mud Mask - I am OBSESSED with this mud mask. I like it even better than Glam Glow. It has this amazing energizing orange smell, which I highly enjoy since there is nothing worse than a foul smelling beauty product. After I use it, I swear my skin is glowing--making me look refreshed. I highly recommend this product if you are in the market for a mud mask.

2. Rimmel London Scandaleyes Waterproof Gel Eyeliner - I normally stick to natural looking makeup, but when I go out, I love doing a dramatic eye. I find this gel eyeliner to be one of the easiest I've ever used to create a cat-eye. It goes on very smooth with the use of a brush and it lasts all night. Perfect for someone who is not great at using liquid eyeliner.

3. John Frieda Frizz Ease Serum  - Say hello to my hair's best friend. Without this product, I could never air dry my hair without it being a big ball of frizz. This one is a lifesaver.

4. Cetaphil - I have really sensitive skin. I am allergic to an insane amount of products (like neosporin--yeah my skin is that sensitive) and my skin is combination dry/oily. Cetaphil is a miracle worker. It keeps the dry parts of my skin moisturized and it doesn't make the oily parts oilier-- all while being sensitive to my skin. Also great to use on your body if you run out of lotion.

5. CoverGirl Clear Mascara - I used to use Anastasia Brow Gel to help keep my eyebrows looking tame until I discovered CoverGirl's version. It does the exact same thing with the exact same results for a fourth of a cost.

6. Revlon Eyelash Curler - I have never understood people's fascination with expensive eyelash curlers when I have always gotten the best results with my Revlon eyelash curler. People are always asking me if my eyelashes are fake since I can them look so long all thanks to this curler.

7. Orly Bonder - I can thank Eva Chen, Editor-in-Chief of Lucky, for introducing this one to me. Best nail polish base I have ever used. It goes on smooth and my nail polish lasts all week.

  3. Not that I have a shortage of masks to try, but adding that mud one to the list! I'm a big fan of Glam Glow so the pressure is on! :)
